Full-Stack Engineer

You are a T-shaped Full Stack Engineer that loves to design, build, own and scale full-stack systems to power our engineering organisation. You will work closely with the Founding Engineer & CTO to deliver best-in-class products that will help us scale the company.

What you'll be doing

01

Build and maintain core platform infrastructure across cloud services and environments.

Improve CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, safe & repeatable deployments.

Design and operate observability, monitoring and alerting on our services.

Create self-service tooling and platform primitives that enable engineers to ship independently.

Collaborate with the CTO & Founding Engineer to understand infrastructure needs and remove blockers.

Improve reliability and scalability across systems.

Respond to incidents, conduct post-incident reviews and implement future-proof fixes.

Contribute to platform documentation, standards and best practices.

What you bring

  • Strong, demonstrated experience working on full-stack systems, leaning on backend.
  • Comfortable working with self-hosted servers, cloud platforms and distributed systems.
  • Experience with modern stacks, relational databases and monitoring tools.
  • Excellent communicator — collaborating with engineering & product teams comes naturally.
  • High ownership, high agency mindset, bias towards shipping fast.
  • Product-focused, mindful of developer experience.

Nice to have

  • Strong understanding of AI infrastructure — you have strong thoughts about how to release, deploy and monitor AI systems, with no compromise on reliability and security.
  • Previous experience in client-facing roles and/or working closely with design/product.
  • Previous experience working in an early-stage startup.

Not for you if…

  • You need a lot of structure, long-term roadmaps, or detailed specs to build.
  • You prefer frontend-only or backend-only roles
  • You aren't on board with owning production issues.
  • You prefer fully-remote work (we work 3+ days a week from the office).
  • You don't thrive at the fast pace of early-stage startups.
  • You're not comfortable with rapid iteration.
